Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the dentist, Alice Games has revealed its latest creation, Shark Dentist, a heart-pounding horror title that traps players in a nightmarish take on veterinary dentistry. The patients are bloodthirsty sharks, and a single mistake could leave you in pieces. Check out the announcement trailer below.
In Shark Dentist, players take on the role of an unlucky dentist, working under the worst conditions, tasked with treating monstrous sharks suspended from the ceiling. Though the aquatic predators are sedated, it doesn’t mean they are harmless. One wrong action and you’ll jolt the shark awake, triggering a hungry and action beast to swallow you whole.
Gameplay is a tense, high-stakes balancing act of accuracy and quick thinking. Players must monitor anesthesia doses and vital signs while selecting the right tool for each procedure. The game features tools such as drills, mirrors, and bone saws, but you’ll have limited time and limited resources to complete the procedure. Each Shark will have random dental issues, plus the tools will have unpredictable occurrences, so no two playthroughs will be alike.
