
Vanessa Kirby has one night to raise a ton of cash in the upcoming Netflix crime thriller, Night Always Comes. Kirby plays Lynette, who is trying to keep her family from being evicted, but her scumbag mother, played by Jennifer Jason Leigh, blows the family’s savings on a down payment for a car. Desperate for cash and only having one night before she needs to settle the debt, Lynette heads into the Portland criminal underworld and is willing to do anything to get the money in time. Zachary Gottsagen plays Lynette’s brother Kenny, and Stephen James, Julia Fox, Eli Roth, Randall Park, and Michael Kelly co-star. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Willy Vlautin, and the film is directed by Benjamin Caron, who most recently directed several episodes of Andor and the AppleTV+ crime thriller Sharper. Night Always Comes is on Netflix on August 15th, and you can check out the trailer below.
