Bill Skarsgård is back as Pennywise in October when the prequel series IT: Welcome to Derry arrives on HBO Max. Set in the 1960s before the events of IT, a new family moves to Derry and they, along with a group of kids, start to realize the horror lurking below the seemingly normal surface. Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, Taylour Paige, James Remar, and Stephen Rider co-star. Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs, who brought us the two recent IT movies, are back for this series, with Andy Muschietti directing the first four of nine episodes.
