The latest video game animated adaptation hitting Netflix, Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, arrives in October. Liev Schrieber takes over from Michael Ironside as Sam Fisher, field commander for Fourth Echelon, which performs covert counter-terrorism operations. He’s teamed with a younger Splinter Cell agent, Zinnia McKenna (Kirby Baptiste-Howell), who has become a target after collecting a watch that is secretly a data cache wanted by powerful and dangerous people. Sam also discovers that their target is related to someone he was forced to take out in his younger days. Janet Varney co-stars as Anna GrÃmsdóttir, and Joel Oulette plays Thunder. Derek Kolstad, writer of the first three John Wick films and the Nobody movies, developed the series for Netflix and Ubisoft. Splinter Cell: Deathwatch debuts on October 14th, and you can check out the trailer below.
