It will be over three years, but Din Djarin and Grogu will be back and on the big screen when The Mandalorian and Grogu arrives in May 2026. Following the events of the third season, Din and Grogu are recruited by the New Republic for a mission that will put them up against bizarre creatures, Rotta the Hutt (Jeremy Allen White), and Imperial warlords. Zeb (Steve Blum) from Star Wars Rebels is appearing in the movie, and Sigourney Weaver also joins the Star Wars universe as Ward, who recruits the bounty hunting pair for their mission. Jon Favreau directs the film, and he and Dave Filoni co-wrote the screenplay. It will be interesting to see how standalone this movie is or if you’ll need to have seen everything Mandalorian-related to keep up. The Mandalorian and Grogu is out on May 22nd, and you can check out the trailer below.
