Jessie Buckley is The Bride! (Trailer)

We’ve seen new takes on The Invisible Man and Wolf Man, and next year Maggie Gyllenhaal is bringing us a new spin on The Bride of Frankenstein with The Bride! Jessie Buckley is The Bride, who is brought back to life in 1930s Chicago to be a companion for a lonely Frankenstein’s Monster (Christian Bale). Once she is reanimated, the pair appear to become a monstrous Bonnie & Clyde, running rampant across Chicago and running afoul of authorities: Peter Sarsgaard, Annette Bening, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Penélope Cruz co-star. Along with directing, Gyllenhaal also wrote and produced the film. The Bride! will be out on March 6th next year, and you can check out the trailer below.
