
Before he faced The Losers Club, Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård) terrified a group of kids in the 60s in IT: Welcome to Derry. Taking place in 1962, the series follows a couple (Taylour Paige and Jovan Adepo) as they move to Derry, ME with their son. They all start to realize that something dark is lurking beneath the surface, and a group of kids in town will confront the heart of the evil when they journey into the sewers and find Pennywise—Chris Chalk, James Remar, and Stephen Rider co-star. Andy Muschietti, who directed the two recent IT movies, and his sister, Barbara Muschietti, who produced those films, serve as executive producers of the series. Additionally, Andy directed multiple episodes, including the pilot. The series debuts on HBO/HBO Max on October 26th, just in time for Halloween, and you can check out the new trailer below.
