
George C. Scott finds himself living in a haunted house in the 1980 film The Changeling, which you can watch in the latest Everything Action Theater. Scott plays John Russell, a composer from New York City who moves to an old mansion in Seattle after a tragic accident kills his wife and daughter. Shortly after moving in, Russell begins experiencing strange supernatural phenomena, and he starts investigating the previous owners of the mansion and the potential causes of the hauntings. The movie was a critical hit when it was released, and it has since become a cult classic. It’s frequently included on lists of the greatest haunted house movies ever made and was #54 on Bravo’s iconic 100 Scariest Movie Moments list.
