
After sitting out Scream VI, Neve Campbell is back as Sidney Prescott for next year’s slasher sequel, Scream 7.  Directed by Kevin Williamson, who wrote the original Scream along with Scream 2 and 4, Scream 7 finds Sidney facing off against a new killer dressed as Ghostface, who has tracked her down to her new hometown, where she is raising her daughter Tatum (Isabel May) with her husband Mark (Joel McHale). Courtney Cox, Mason Gooding, and Jasmin Savoy Brown return from previous entries, along with David Arquette, Matthew Lillard, and Scott Foley, all of whom seemingly died in earlier entries. Anna Camp, Mark Consuelos, Ethan Embry, Asa Germann, McKenna Grace, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Michelle Randolph, and Jimmy Tatro will also appear in undisclosed roles. Williamson co-wrote the script along with directing. Scream 7 is out on February 27th, and you can check out the trailer below.
