Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) returns to save Camp Half-Blood and rescue his best friend, Grover (Aryan Simhadri), in the upcoming season of Percy Jackson & The Olympians. Based on the second book in the series by Rick Riordan, The Sea of Monsters, Percy and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) have a new quest when Camp Half-Blood is threatened by Luke (Charlie Bushnell), a son of Hermes who has aligned himself with Kronos (Nick Boraine). The pair has to join a mission into the Sea of Monsters to find Grover and recover the legendary Golden Fleece before the barrier that protects the camp fades away, and Kronos’ forces will be able to attack. Dior Goodjohn, Jason Mantzoukas, Glynn Turman, Lin Manuel-Miranda, Toby Stephens, Adam Copeland, and Virginia Kull return from the first season, with Courtney B. Vance taking over as Zeus from the late Lance Reddick. Dafne Keen, Saara Chaudry, and Kate McKinnon are new additions to the cast for season 2. The show returns with a two-episode premiere on December 10th and then will have weekly episodes in the following weeks. Check out the new trailer below.
