Anne Hathaway Goes Pop in Mother Mary (Trailer)

Anne Hathaway plays a pop star who goes to extreme lengths to get a costume for a comeback tour in director David Lowery’s Mother Mary.  Hathaway plays the titular character, with Michaela Cole playing her estranged best friend and costume designer Sam Anselm.  Reuniting to design the costumes for Mother Mary’s comeback tour, the pair open old wounds, and something dark seems to be involved in the process: Hunter Schafer, Atheena Frizzell, Kaia Gerber, Jessica Brown Findlay, and FKA Twigs co-star.  Twigs, Jack Antonoff, and Charlie XCX wrote original songs for the movie.  Mother Mary is out in April next year, and you can check out the trailer below.
