Silent Hill is having a bit of a renaissance with the highly rated Silent Hill 2 remake and Silent Hill f, so hopefully the franchise’s return to the big screen can keep the streak going in January. Director of the first Silent Hill film, Christophe Gans, is back to direct Return to Silent Hill, which is based on Silent Hill 2. Jeremy Irvine plays James Sunderland, who comes to the creepy and seemingly abandoned town of Silent Hill to try and find his lost love, Mary (Hannah Emily Anderson). As James explores the town, he’s confronted by horrific creatures and disturbing visions that make him question his sanity. Evie Templeton co-stars as Laura, for whom she provided voice and motion capture performance in the Silent Hill 2 remake. The movie is out on January 23rd, and you can check out the final trailer below.
