If you’re looking for some animatronic horror before Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 arrives this weekend, you can check out the 2018 Hulu short film, The Hug, for the latest Everything Action Theater. Directed by Jack Bishop and Justin Nijm, the short was included in the “Huluween” film fest on the streaming service during the Halloween season in 2018. The short is set in Pandory’s Pan Pizza Palace, your typical arcade and pizza restaurant. The restaurant’s mascot is Pandory the Panda, who has a dark secret that a disobedient child learns the hard way. Bishop and Njim previously worked on Stan Against Evil before directing The Hug, and they are currently in pre-production on a feature-length version of the short. You can check out the short below.
