The MCU is kicking off 2026 with its next Disney+ series, Wonder Man, which debuts at the end of January. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars as actor Simon Williams, who is seeking the starring role in a remake of an in-universe movie called Wonder Man. Simon has superpowers, which he needs to keep hidden as they are apparently frowned upon in the MCU’s version of Hollywood. Ben Kingsley returns as Trevor Slattery, who is also looking to land a role in Wonder Man and put the whole Mandarin/Ten Rings business behind him. Arian Moayed also returns from Spider-Man: No Way Home and Ms. Marvel as Department of Damage Control agent P. Cleary. X Mayo, Zlatko Buric, Olivia Thirlby and Byron Bowers co-star. Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed Shang-Chi, co-created the series along with Andrew Guest, who produced Hawkeye. Wonder Man drops all eight episodes on January 27th and you can check out the trailer below.
