The first big Netflix movie of the year arrives next week with The Rip, starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and directed by Joe Carnahan.  Damon and Affleck are part of a Miami police squad who raid a suspected stash house and find millions in cash hidden in the walls. As they try to figure out who they can trust and what to do with the cash, outside forces close in, including the criminals who own the stash house and corrupt cops. Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Scott Adkins, Kyle Chandler, Néstor Carbonell, and Lina Esco co-star. In addition to directing the film, Joe Carnahan developed the story and wrote the screenplay. The Rip is streaming on January 16th, and you can check out the final trailer below.
