Maul returns to build a criminal empire when the next entry in the Star Wars animated universe, Maul – Shadow Lord debuts in April. Sam Witwer returns to voice Maul as the series picks up a year after the end of The Clone Wars. Finding a new apprentice in Devon Izara (Gideon Adlon), Maul looks to rebuild a syndicate while avoiding the law and the Empire. Wagner Moura plays Captain Brander Lawson, a respected police detective and Richard Ayoade plays his droid partner, 2BOT. Dennis Haysbert, Chris Diamantopoulos, Steve Blum, Charlie Bushnell, Vanessa Marshall and A.J. LoCascio round out the cast. New president and Chief Creative Officer of Lucasfilm, Dave Filoni, created the series. The first two episodes drop on Disney+ on April 6th and there will be 10 episodes total.
