After several attempts, a new live-action Masters of the Universe movie arrives this June. Nicholas Galitzine, who previously starred in The Idea of You and Red, White & Royal Blue, plays Adam Glenn, who was sent from his home of Eternia at age 10 by his mother, Queen Marlena (Charlotte Riley), to protect him from the threat of Skeletor (Jared Leto). 20 years later, Adam takes up the Power Sword of Greyskull and returns to Eternia to battle Skeletor and free Eternia from his evil grasp. Adam is joined by Teela (Camila Mendes), Man at Arms (Idris Elba), and Roboto (Kristen Wiig) while Skeletor has the likes of Evil-Lyn (Alison Brie) in his ranks. Travis Knight, who directed Bumblebee and Kubo and the Two Strings, directed the film. Masters of the Universe is out on June 5th, and you can watch the trailer below.
