It’s been 13 years since the last entry, but the Scary Movie franchise returns this summer with Scary Movie, aka Scary Movie 6.  The Wayans Brothers are back behind the scenes and in front of the cameras, having last been involved in the franchise with Scary Movie 2 back in 2001. Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Jon Abrahams, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Dave Sheridan, Anthony Anderson, and Chris Elliott all return from the previous movies, and the new film takes stabs at M3GAN, Ma, Halloween, Get Out, Nope, Sinners, Longlegs, The Substance, Heretic, and more. There’s also Terrifier, but it looks like it may actually feature Art the Clown rather than parody him (though there’s no info on David Howard Thornton appearing). Michael Tiddes, who directed the A Haunted House movie for the Wayans, is directing from a script written by the Wayans and Rick Alvarez.  Scary Movie is out on June 12th, and you can check out the trailer below.
