Daredevil: Born Again is back for its second season on Disney+ tonight (3/24) as Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) continues his fight to free New York City from the grip of Mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) and his Anti-Vigilante Task Force. The series is a continuation of the Netflix series, but it originally started with a much lighter, more episodic tone before Disney/Marvel removed the original showrunners and brought in a new team, including filmmakers Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, to return to the darker, more serialized tone of the Netflix show. Overall, the first season was a pretty great return for Matt, but you can definitely feel the tonal mish-mash at times, so hopefully the second season has solidified the overall tone.
