
Lionsgate is taking The Hunger Games back to a pivotal event in November when Sunrise on the Reaping opens. Set during the 2nd Quarter Quell, aka the 50th Hunger Games, a young Haymitch Abernathy (Joseph Zada) is one of the tributes chosen from District 12, along with Maysilee Donner (McKenna Grace), Wyatt Callow (Ben Wang), and Louella McCoy (Molly McCann). Ralph Fiennes takes over as President Snow, and Glenn Close, Jesse Plemons, Kieran Culkin, Maya Hawke, Elle Fanning, Billy Porter, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Lili Taylor co-star. Francis Lawrence, who has directed the Hunger Games movie since Catching Fire, directs this movie. Sunrise on the Reaping is out on November 20th and you can check out the new trailer below.
