The Targaryen civil war continues to rage as House of the Dragon returns for Season 3 on HBO in June. Both the “Blacks”, led by Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) and her uncle/husband Daemon (Matt Smith) and the “Greens”, led by Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) and her children, most prominently the ruthless Aemond (Ewan Mitchell) spent the previous season manuevering and consolidating resources and allies and it seems like things may finally be coming to a head as their forces clash to determine who will claim the Iron Throne. Along with the returning cast members, James Norton, Tommy Flanagan, Don Fogler, Tom Cullen, Joplin Sibtain, Barry Sloane, and Annie Shapero join the cast. Season 3 will consist of eight episodes and will debut on HBO on June 21st. Check out the trailer below.
