After decades of legal quagmires, Tales from the Crypt will finally start streaming officially on Shudder/AMC+ this Friday. To celebrate this Halfway to Halloween miracle, you can check out the episode directed by our patron saint, Arnold Schwarzenegger, “The Switch”. The second episode of Season 2, “The Switch,” stars character acting legend William Hickey as Carlton Webster, a wealthy bachelor who wishes to propose to his crush, the much younger beauty Linda (Kelly Preston). Rejected for his age and decrepit body, Carlton finds a discredited doctor who helps him slowly swap bodies with a young and virile man, played by Rick Rossovich. Ian Abercrombie, Mark Pellegrino, and Roy Brocksmith also co-star in the episode. Arnold himself appears alongside The Cryptkeeper (John Kassir) to introduce the episode. It’s one of Arnold’s few directing credits, the other being the 1992 made-for-TV holiday film, Christmas in Connecticut.
