Alan Ritchson is looking for some revenge in 1970’s Detroit in the upcoming action thriller Motor City.  Ritchson plays John Miller, who falls for Sophia (Shailene Woodley), who turns out to be the girlfriend of a local gangster, Reynolds (Ben Foster). Framed for a crime he didn’t commit, John goes to prison, but after he’s released, he’s hungry for revenge against those who betrayed him. Pablo Schreiber, Ben McKenzie, Lionel Boyce, Amar Chadha-Patel, and Rafael Cebrián co-star. Potsy Ponciroli, who directed Old Henry and Greedy People, directed the film. It debuted at the Venice International Film Festival in August last year, and IFC picked it up for distribution. Motor City will be out on July 24th, and you can check out the trailer below.
