After his scene-stealing role in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Fox McCloud and the Star Fox team are back in a new game, Star Fox. In the vein of recent remakes like the Resident Evil games, Star Fox is a remake of Star Fox 64, featuring the series’ trademark on-rails shooter segments piloting Arwings along with levels that feature the Landmaster tank and Blue-Marine submarine. The game features updated graphics and brand-new cutscenes that flesh out the storyline. There’s Campaign mode where you play through the story in either easy, normal, or hard mode, with the latter removing continues, and Challenge, which lets you play any stage with new objectives. There’s also a local co-op where one player controls the Arwing and the other controls the guns, and multiplayer, both local and online, where players can engage in Star Fox vs Star Wolf battles.
