Sony had their big summer State of Play presentation and led things off with an extended look at gameplay for Insomniac’s Wolverine. The follow-up to their Spider-Man games, Wolverine is going in a much more brutal direction as Logan (Liam McIntyre) rips apart enemies on a mission to stop a threat that poses a danger to humans and mutants alike. The presentation also featured the return of the Stuntman franchise with Stuntman: Hollywood, a sequel to Until Dawn, a new Rayman game, Rayman Legends Retold, and the big final reveal, God of War: Laufey. Starring Daredevil’s Deborah Ann Woll, the game follows Laufey, the wife of Kratos and mother of Atreus, as she goes on her own epic quest through the Norse afterlife.
