The digital world of The Grid collides with the real world in October when Tron: Ares hits theaters. Jared Leto is Ares, a program brought into the world of humans by Julian Dillinger (Evan Peters) in an attempt to create a new breed of super soldier. Ares escapes and embarks on a personal mission in the real world and within The Grid. Greta Lee, Hasan Minaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, and Gillian Anderson co-star with Jeff Bridges returning as Kevin Flynn. Joachim Rønning takes over directing after Joseph Kosinski directed Tron: Legacy, and Nine Inch Nails are providing the soundtrack this time.
