One of the best parts of 2015’s Turbo Kid, which we discussed on the most recent Everything Actioncast, is the synthwave score by Le Matos. For their track “No Tomorrow”, the music video was an official prequel to the movie. Directed by the Turbo Kid directing team, Roadkill Superstars, Laurence Leboeuf returned as the insanely upbeat Apple. It follows her shortly before she meets and befriends “The Kid” in the movie, as her human companion dies, and she runs into a bizarre cult. The music video was released in 2017 and, to date, is the only official live-action continuation of the Turbo Kid universe; however, a sequel was announced in 2016. The video game, officially released last year, is the only other entry in the franchise. You can check out the “No Tomorrow” video below.
