Percy Jackson and the Olympians returns on Disney+/Hulu on Wednesday this week for Season 2, but if you need a recap before the central trio braves the Sea of Monsters, check out the official recap video. Walker Scobell stars as Percy Jackson, who discovers that he’s a demigod and the son of Poseidon (Toby Stephens). Brought to Camp Half-Blood, where he and other demigods train to be heroes, he’s given a quest to recover Zeus’s master bolt, which was stolen and, if not returned, will ignite a war between the gods. Joined by Annabeth Chase (Leah Sava Jeffries), the daughter of Athena, and Grover (Aryan Simhadri), Percy’s satyr best friend, the trio journeys across the United States and into the hidden world of gods and monsters to try and recover the bolt. In Season 2, the trio journeys into the Sea of Monsters to try and recover the mythical Golden Fleece and stop the threat of the titan Kronos. The official Season 1 recap from Hulu is below.
